Management Structure

MS has a strong core senior management team consisting of the Managing Director, five General Managers and twelve managerial positions support by senior level officers. All of them are highly trained and experienced in their respective fields (management, finance, service delivery, advocacy, marketing and administration). Financial and management systems are well laid out, and mechanisms are in place to ensure transparency in management. The Managing Director is accountable to a Board of Directors. MS operates its activities in a systematic and efficient way by strictly following the programme and financial guidelines and the organization service rules.

Each clinic programme is run by an experienced Manager and a team of 1-2 Doctors, 1-3 Nurses, 0-1 Paramedics, 0-1 Nurse-aides, one counselor, a receptionist and a Cleaner. The Team is support by an outreach team of Field Coordinator/Health Educator (1-2), Mini-clinic In-charge (one Paramedic for two clinics) and a number of Volunteers. MS has introduced a well designed supervision and monitoring system to identify areas for further improvement and to provide necessary technical assistance to the team. The Programme Officers and the Programme Development Officer supervise and monitor the clinics quarterly from the Head Office level and the Clinic Managers are responsible for monthly supervision and monitoring of all clinic activities from the clinic level. A technical audit of the clinics, by an external consultant, is also done yearly.
