Barrister Imam was elected as Chairperson in 1995. Besides having a successful legal practice, he is associated with a number of large organizations / business as an adviser / director. He is the Vice-president of the Barristers' Association of Bangladesh. An avid Rotarian, Barrister Imam is closely associated with a movement to increase corporate involvement in HIV/AIDS prevention and promote awareness of human rights and ethical issues involving those infected with HIV/AIDS.

The founding Chairperson of MS, Mrs Khan is a renowned English teacher, and a well-known social worker in Chittagong. She has been closely associated with numerous organizations dealing with gender equality and over the last couple of years has worked on projects designed to develop the English language skills of various groups. She is currently the Regional English Language Specialist for the English Language Teaching Improvement Project (ELTIP) which is sponsored by the UK's Department of International Development.

Mr. Mamun Rashid has completed Masters in Business Administration in Strategic Management from Henley Management College UK and Masters in Economics from Bangladesh. Now he is the Managing Director of Citibank NA, Bangladesh.With a banking career spanning over 20 years he has served many senior positions in Treasury, Institutional Banking, Debt restructuring & recoveries and Corporate Banking. He has represented the country's banking sector at various national and International forums.

Dr. Naushad Faiz has completed Ph.D in Economics from Moscow University, Russia (1982) and more than 22 years of experience in working in the field of development as a researcher, consultant and program manager. He has conducted research in health and population, the water sector, international trade, and capacity building. He is a freelance consultant and is associated with the Population Research and Development Associates (PRDA) as a Research Adviser, which is an honorary position.

Dr Ahmed is a medical graduate and MS' Managing Director. She has led MS since 1995, and has played a critical role in managing its transition to a large, well-established non-governmental organization.
